We were also instructed to start a Twitter account, which I am not as pleased about. I don't even want to use Facebook these days because it feels like a chore to keep up with. I just can't see the appeal in pouring time and energy into browsing through lists of people's unfiltered broadcasted internal monologs and retweetings. They say it can be a tool for communicating to a broad audience, but that only works if everyone is Twitter-obsessed and they devote a chunk of their life to sifting through tweets. I would also not want to use Twitter in a classroom environment because it crosses the professional relationship, in the same way I wouldn't add learners on Facebook. Oh well, perhaps I'll be surprised by some functionality Twitter has that I'm unaware of. For my classmate's convenience, my Twitter account is @CatPGCE, same name as in this blog's url.
I'll end each post with something cute, because the world needs more reasons to go "aww".
Today I give you rats with tiny teddy bears!

aww!!
